Picking up a few years after the first movie, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil follows Aurora (Elle Fanning) as the queen of the Moors, maintaining peace between the human kingdom and the magical creatures. However, trouble arises when Prince Phillip proposes to Aurora. While Maleficent (Angelina Jolie) is initially skeptical of the union, she agrees to meet Phillip's parents, King John and Queen Ingrith (Michelle Pfeiffer).
