The night starts uneventfully. Ángela interviews the firefighters, joking around, trying to find a story where there isn't one. Finally, a distress call comes in. An elderly woman is trapped inside her apartment on the upper floors of a dark, aging building. It sounds like a simple rescue mission—a standard "lock and key" job. The firemen, Manu and Álex, invite Ángela and Pablo to tag along. It is the opportunity Ángela has been waiting for, but it turns out to be the biggest mistake of her life.
As the night wears on, Angela and Pablo team up with a firefighter, Ferran (played by Pablo Lloret), to investigate a strange noise on the top floor. They soon discover that the building has been quarantined due to a mysterious outbreak that's turning residents into violent, zombie-like creatures.
