In late 2018, a tutorial showed how to use UMT Dongle to remove FRP from a OnePlus X E1003 by running Ultimate Multi Tool – QcFire v3.2, selecting the "Read & Tools" tab, and clicking "Reset Frp" after properly connecting the device in download mode.
