| | Meaning | What to Do | | :--- | :--- | :--- | | Err 0 / Er 0 | No pulse detected. The monitor was unable to find a clear, consistent pulse signal. | Check that the cuff is positioned and secured correctly on your bare arm. Relax and hold your arm steady at heart level. Try again. | | Err 1 / Er 1 | Inflation rate is too low. The cuff is not inflating quickly enough. | Check the tube connections between the cuff and monitor to ensure they are tight and not leaking. Replace the batteries if they are low. | | Err 2 / Er 2 | Systolic pressure unattainable. The monitor could not determine your systolic (top) number. | This is often caused by movement, talking, or a weak or irregular heartbeat. Remain completely still and quiet, and repeat the measurement. | | Err 3 / Er 3 | Cuff pressure is too high. | Restart the monitor. If the problem persists, the device may need servicing. | | Err 4 / Er 4 | Diastolic pressure is outside the operation range. | Similar to Err 2, this is often caused by excessive movement or a heartbeat irregularity. | | Err 5 | Cuff deflated too fast. | Ensure the cuff tube is properly inserted into the monitor's socket and that there are no kinks or holes in the tube. | | Low Battery Symbol (🔋) | Batteries are low on power. | Replace all four batteries with new, high-quality AAA batteries immediately. | | EE or E on screen | A general error has occurred. | Possible reasons include movement, an incorrectly fitted cuff, or constricting clothing. Remove the cuff, check the setup, and try again. | | NIBP SYSTEM ERR | The device's internal system check has failed. | Restart the machine. If the error persists, contact the manufacturer's customer service for support. | electronic blood pressure monitor x180 manual
