The motor signal wire is disconnected or damaged. Check the main waterproof cable connector near the rear chainstay to ensure it is plugged in completely and lines up with the directional arrows.
Remove the plastic spacer from the front brake caliper. Insert the wheel axle into the fork dropouts. Insert the quick-release skewer, adjust the tension nut, and flip the lever closed. The lever should leave a temporary impression on your palm when closed securely.
