The default interface on a provider box prioritizes paid advertisements and subscription services. By unlocking the device, you can install lightweight, ad-free custom launchers such as Projectivy Launcher or FLauncher. Open a Command Prompt (CMD) or Terminal inside the ADB folder. Type adb connect [YOUR_BOX_IP_ADDRESS] and press Enter.
Many carrier versions require a specific password from the provider to enable Developer Options, which is why flashing is often preferred over simple ADB tweaks .
On some carrier‑locked units, enabling developer options requires a password. If you encounter a password prompt, you may need to flash a custom ROM (discussed later). Another workaround is to search for published unlock files (e.g., “B866V2 ROM OCTUBRE 23 LIBERADA”) that have the developer menu already enabled.
