A chirpy, overly talkative, and free-spirited girl from Theni. She is running away from home to marry her lover, Gautham.

When Sakthi abruptly leaves the train, Anjali rushes to bring him back and ends up missing the train herself. Stranded without money or luggage, she holds Sakthi responsible for her predicament. To fix his mistake, Sakthi agrees to accompany her safely home to Theni. Along the way, Anjali’s infectious positivity entirely alters Sakthi's outlook on life.
