Connect the USB cable from the plotter to a USB 2.0 port on your computer (avoid USB 3.0 ports if you experience connection drops).

USB-to-Serial Driver (FTDI or CH341): Most Liyu cutters use a USB chip that converts the signal to a virtual COM port. You will likely need the FTDI chipset driver or the CH341 driver for Windows to recognize the plotter as a "USB Serial Port."
