The status quo is violently shattered when a van arrives at the doorstep. Some soldiers, claiming to be Sam’s subordinates, bring a shocking surprise: Sam is alive. He has returned from the war, now bearing the rank of Lieutenant. But he has also brought a terrible injury home with him: he is completely blind. The high-stakes irony of the premise is now fully activated. Sam, unaware of the treachery happening around him, moves back into the house, unknowingly becoming a third party in his own marriage.
