This show was Aquí no hay quien viva (RCN), a Colombian adaptation of the wildly successful Spanish series of the same name that had originally aired on Antena 3 between 2003 and 2005. The adaptation was a co-production between Sony Pictures Television International and RCN, handled by executive producer Luis Eduardo Chacón, and was directed by Sergio Osorio. It marked RCN’s first official "remake" of a Spanish sitcom.
