Textures now react to light based on their physical material. Metals gleam, wet surfaces reflect, and cloth remains diffuse. This requires a resource pack with normal and specular maps but works excellently with default textures.
If you are looking for a more modern and actively supported shader, consider —the official successor to IterationT. It introduces better lighting, reflections, PBR texture support, and ray‑tracing features. However, please note that IterationRP is currently in paid alpha development.
